Ragnar Del Sol 2011

This February I will be doing my first ever 202 miler... with 11 other teammates of course!! :)

For those of you who don't know what Ragnar is; it is a 12 person relay from Wickenburg to Phoenix, Arizona. Over the day and a half it takes to complete it we will have run 202 miles between the entire team!

This is just another challenge that I never thought I would ever do, or want to do. Life takes you in many different directions and as for right now I know my direction is great! Not only I am more fit than I have ever been I am eating great and feeling amazing! I am so excited to be a part of the Tribe Team and make memories that last a life time!!

2011 is going to be a great year

Another year has passed and my journey has only begun!

I have completed 3 major races this year. Check out that bling!!
Rock n Roll San Diego 1/2 Marathon
Women's Tempe 1/2 Marathon
Iron Girl 10 mile run
I am so thankful to be healthy and able to run! I just got into running this past January of 2010, I owe it all to one of my best friends Lauren. She was the one who inspired and pushed me to sign up for my first half marathon in June 2010. Since that push I have been pushing myself in ways I never thought I would... for instance, I  ran 20 miles last weekend and in two more weekends I will be running my first ever FULL MARATHON!!! Yay!!!

New Year Resolutions 2011
Finish my first marathon
Cross train like nobodies business
Complete my first triathlon
No injuries

20 Miles - 20 Dollars

This Sunday I had the best 20 mile run of my life! Yes, I know it is the only 20 mile run of my life, but it went wonderfully... and I found $20!!

Training has reached its peak and I am very happy with it all! I am ready to run PF Changs, my first ever full marathon!!! I can't believe the run went so well, but I am very relieved it did.

Breaking up, it's easy to do

This past weekend I ran an easy 12 miles.
That's right, I said easy. It is, if you break it up in your head.
And I am super good at breaking up!

I go out 6 miles... and if that is not easy enough I take a short little walking break every 2 miles!

How could you not enjoy running with this view!?
Squaw Peak in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona
I love running this way, it makes me focus only on a short amount of distance and I do not get over whelmed by the mileage I am doing.

I do think that I need to start running in a new place because I know where all the mile markers are now. It is starting to get old fast knowing exactly where I am and how much further I have to go!

On another note, I put my Christmas Tree up! I love the smell of a real tree and so do my cats!
 Merry Christmas everyone!
